Background:

The attached General Warranty Deed is being conveyed to the City of Broken Arrow, a municipal corporation, from Douglas and Jaylene Farry, the owners. Parcel 5 consists of 0.0332 acres of permanent Right-of-Way located in the Northwest Quarter of Section 26, Township 18 North, Range 14 East. Tulsa County, State of Oklahoma. The Farry’s have accepted the following offer, made subject to City Council approval:

 

Permanent Right of Way:  1,447 Square Feet (SF) @ $1.71 SF = $2,474.37

Damages (Fencing): $6,672.00

Total Just Compensation Amount (Rounded) = $ 9,150.00

 

A copy of the signed acceptance of the City’s offer is attached, as is the General Warranty Deed. Payment of the compensation amount is on the June 17, 2019 City Council Claims List.

 

Cost:                                                                $9,150.00

Funding Source:       Parks and Recreation Capital Improvements.
