Title:

title

Consideration, discussion, and possible adoption of Ordinance No. 3585 closing a portion of Right-of-Way on property located one-eighth mile south of New Orleans Street (101st Street), one-third mile east of 9th Street (Lynn Lane Road), Tulsa County, State of Oklahoma, (Section 25, T18N, R14E); repealing all ordinances to the contrary; and declaring an emergency (Seven Oaks South)

Background:

The applicant, AAB Engineering, has submitted an application requesting the closure of approximately 0.03-acres of an existing right-of-way which is a portion of South 13th Place in the Seven Oaks South subdivision. This right-of-way was dedicated with the plat of the Seven Oaks South subdivision as a stub street to abutting vacant land. With the development of the property to the west, which is proposed to be the Village at Seven Oaks South, it has been determined that the existing stub street will not be necessary. The applicant proposed to close the right-of-way in order incorporate the property into the Village at Seven Oaks South development.

AEP/PSO, Windstream, ONG, and COX Communications have no objections to this closure. Staff has reviewed the documents and recommends acceptance of the right-of-way closure.

The preview ordinance was approved by the City Council on June 3, 2019.
