Consideration, discussion, and possible approval of and authorization to execute a Professional Consultant Services Agreement with Benham Design, LLC for providing design services for 23rd Street widening from Albany Street to Omaha Street and Bridge Replacement (Project No. ST1931 and ST1932)

Background:
This 2018 GO Transportation project consists of improvements and widening of 23rd Street from Albany Street to Omaha Street, including the bridge replacement over Adams Creek. The project shall include widening the existing two lane asphalt road to a five lane road with the addition of curb and gutter, sidewalk, an enclosed storm sewer, as well as design of water and sewer relocations/upgrades, as required. The project shall also include services for the following: identification of right-of-way needs, preparation of right-of-way acquisition documents, assistance during acquisition, identification of the need for utility relocations, and the coordination of utility relocations. Coordination will be required on this project in order to tie this project into the newly designed intersections at Albany Street and Omaha Street.
Cost: $605,578.00
