Background:
The current agreement with Bee Clean Cleaning Service to provide custodial services for the Public Safety Complex expires June 30, 2019. Renewable periods under this agreement have been exhausted and new bid proposals have been sought for this service.
Custodial service proposals were advertised and sent to ten (10) vendors. Nine (9) proposals were received. The lowest bid proposal received is from Alpha Everclean, a Broken Arrow company. Their proposal and qualifications indicate they are capable of providing this service and their references have provided positive comments.
The option to provide paper consumables will not be taken as the supplies can be provided in-house through our purchasing warehouse at roughly half the cost.
Staff recommends awarding the proposal for custodial services at the Public Safety Complex facilities to Alpha Everclean. The agreement is for one year and is renewable for additional periods based on available funding.
Cost: $3,005 per month
