Background:
The Capital Equipment Replacement project is for the annual replacement of equipment at the Regional Metropolitan Utility Authority (RMUA) Haikey Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant (HCWWTP). This project is to replace capital equipment identified in the strategic asset management plan.
The Basis of Award was the total of the base bid and four additive alternates, A-D. Three bids were received ranging from as low as $838,000.00 to as high as $1,083,435.00. All three bids were deemed responsive. The Engineer’s Estimate was $777,000. Based on available funds, RMUA chose to award the Base Bid and Alternates A, B and D for a total award amount of $508,000. Capital Improvements are a fifty-fifty split with Tulsa.
