Ratification of increased funding amount for Tulsa County Urban County Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Application for FY2019
End
Background:
The City of Broken Arrow is eligible for the Tulsa County Urban County Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program for FY2019. The grant program is funded through the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and is administered locally through the Indian Nations Council of Governments (INCOG). This grant is to fund improvements to Detroit Street, from First to Fourth Streets and on April 16, 2019, the City of Broken Arrow approved and executed the CDBG application for $391,870.55.
On April 29, 2019, the City was notified by INCOG that HUD had increased the grant amount. The CDBG application was revised to increase its grant amount to $399,942.85.
This ratification is required because the funding amount increased from the original amount (from $391,870.55 originally to $399,942.85) after execution of the application.
