Background:

The attached General Warranty Deed is being conveyed to the City of Broken Arrow, a municipal corporation, from Matt and Stephanie Cox, the owners. Parcel 3 consists of 0.0282 acres of permanent Right-of-Way located in the Northwest Quarter of Section 26, Township 18 North, Range 14 East. Tulsa County, State of Oklahoma. The Cox’s have accepted the following offer, made subject to City Council approval:

 

Permanent Right of Way:  1,230 Square Feet (SF) @ $1.67 SF = $2,054.10

Damages (Fencing): $7,340.00

Total Just Compensation Amount (Rounded) = $ 9,400.00

 

A copy of the signed acceptance of the City’s offer is attached, as is the General Warranty Deed. Payment of the compensation amount is on the May 21, 2019 City Council Claims List.

 

Cost:                                                                $9,400.00

Funding Source:       Parks and Recreation Capital Improvements.
