Background:
Houston Street widening from Aspen Avenue to Elm Place is a 2014 GO Bond Transportation Project which requires topographic survey in order for Engineering & Construction Department staff to perform engineering and design of the improvements. This professional surveying and related support services contract, negotiated by Engineering & Construction Department staff with Geodeca, LLC, shall include providing all necessary topographic survey for use by Department staff during the design of the project described. The survey extents will be from ultimate right-of-way to ultimate right-of-way along Houston St. between Aspen Ave. and Elm Pl. extending 300 feet in each direction at the two arterial intersections. Survey extents will widen to include additional information at all creek crossings, bridges and secondary intersections. The surveying services shall also include establishment of survey control, identification of existing rights-of-way and easements, preparation of legal descriptions, as well as field pinning and staking of legal descriptions.
Cost: $35,710.00
