Background:

The 6th Annual Broken Arrow Rose Festival celebrates our city "Where Roses Bloom" & shares information about the future Broken Arrow Rose Garden. This three day event will take place Friday & Saturday in the Rose District & Rose Kites Over Broken Arrow at the Broken Arrow Events Park on Sunday.

The Special Events Committee reviewed and recommended approval of the request for Special Event Permit in their meeting of March 7th, 2019. 

This year the Rose Festival is partnering with Arts OK of Broken Arrow, Inc. and the City of Broken Arrow to provide an event full of art, music and beautiful Roses. The Friday and Saturday festival will include a rose show, rose experts to give advice on your garden, chalk art, live music provided by local talented musicians, a rose themed art exhibit, food trucks and much more!  The festival opens to the public beginning on Friday, May 31st from 5 pm to 12 am and continues on Saturday, June 1st from 9 am to 7 pm.  The kite event opens to the public Sunday, June 2nd from 10 am to 4 pm.  These events will be fun for the entire family and is free and open to the public.

The Rose District Farmers Market will also be part of the event on Saturday, June 1st
