Background:
The City of Broken Arrow has selected the 23rd Street project between Houston and Kenosha Streets to apply for a Better Utilizing Investments to Leverage Development (BUILD) Transportation Discretionary Grants program. The BUILD Grant would be used to construct an iconic bridge on 23rd Street over SH-51 (Broken Arrow Expressway). The BUILD Grant, if awarded would augment existing Surface Transportation Program (STP) funds and local funds (GO Bonds).
