Background:

The Oklahoma Municipal Assurance Group (OMAG) is a provider of General Liability, Auto, Workers’ Compensation, Property and Risk Management services for Oklahoma cities and towns since 1977. It is governed by a seven-member Board nominated and elected by its members. The City has been a member of OMAG since 1982. The terms of two trustees expire on June 30, 2019. Nine individuals are nominated to fill the two vacancies. After a review of the biographical summary, staff recommends that the ballot be cast for Justin Battles, Acting City Manager/Parks Director, City of Mustang and Jeremy Frazier, City Manager, City of El Reno.

The other nominees are as follows:  Gerald Haury, Town Administrator, Mannford; Jeff Knapp, Vice Mayor, Bethany; Beverly McManus, City Clerk/Treasurer, Nicoma Park; Russ Meachum, Chief Financial Officer, Perry; Kimberly Meeks, City Manager, Duncan; Stephen Mills, City Manager, Lindsay; Vickie Patterson, City Manager, Broken Bow; Dustin Scott, City Administrator, Marietta; Mark Skiles, City Manager, Clinton; Randy Stelling, Council Member, City of Alva; Mark Whinnery, City Manager, Drumright.
