Background:
The City of Broken Arrow had four sand volleyball courts designed at Nienhuis Park. Bid documents were prepared and advertised on March 11 and 18, 2019. The Base Bid included the four sand courts complete-in-place and the Additive Alternate #1 included four bleacher units complete-in-place along with four concrete pads as a base for the bleachers. Nine bids were received and opened on April 2, 2019. Two bids were non-responsive. The low bidder, for the Base Bid and Additive Alternate #1, was Cherokee Pride Construction, Inc. with a total bid of $190,280.00. The Engineer’s Estimate, for the Base Bid and Additive Alternate #1, was $195,081.68.
