Background:
Planning Commission members are appointment to serve three-year terms. The term for Planning Commission member Mark Jones is set to expire on May 1, 2019. Mr. Jones was appointed by the City Council to the Planning Commission on March 1, 2016, by Mayor Craig Thurmond. Mr. Jones has expressed his willingness to continue to serve on the Planning Commission for another three-year term to expire May 1, 2022.
