Background:
The Utilities Department has budgeted for the purchase of one mini excavator. This machine replaces Unit No. 0712. Funds for the purchase are available in the Departmental Capital Outlay for FY 2019 Account No. 020-5400-434-7003 Project No. 195401.
Bid packages were sent to fourteen (14) vendors and received six (6) bid proposals. Only two (2) bid proposals met specifications. Staff has reviewed the bids and recommends award to Yellowhouse Machinery at $80,048.60 as the most advantageous bid.
