Background:
The Broken Arrow Chamber of Commerce will host the 88th annual Rooster Days Festival May 9-12, 2019. The City of Broken Arrow and the Broken Arrow Convention and Visitors’ Bureau have been long-standing supporters of this community event. Rooster Days is the longest running festival in Oklahoma. There is something for everyone at Rooster Days, including live entertainment, parade, carnival, food, wine garden, and the expanding market place.
Staff has drafted a Professional Services Contract with ArtsOK for the Rooster Days Festival, in an amount not to exceed $20,000.00 per year, for festival years 2019, 2020 and 2021, subject to annual appropriations. Funding will assist the Broken Arrow Chamber of Commerce with advertising, promotion and marketing of the festival.
Cost: $20,000 per fiscal year, for a period of three years, subject to annual appropriations
