Approval of and authorization to execute Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) Engineering Contract Funding Agreement Amendment #2 for Engineering Services involving the Broken Arrow Centennial Trail Phase IV(Project No. 146020)
End
Background:
The City of Broken Arrow applied for Surface Transportation Program (STP) Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) funds for two trail projects in Broken Arrow. The City was successful in obtaining STP - TAP funds for both projects, including design of the Centennial Trail in south Broken Arrow. The trail selected was listed in the INCOG GO Plan and extends from the Liberty Parkway Trail north to Broken Arrow Public School Freshman Academy.
This Amendment #2 addresses the Agreement between ODOT and the consultant, R.L. Shears Company, P.C. for the consultant to supply easement documents for properties adjacent to the trail.
This item is an ODOT - City of Broken Arrow agreement for our 25% share ($984.00) of the funding. With this ODOT agreement the City agrees to manage the ODOT consultant contract. After ODOT receives this signed agreement they will execute it along with the consultant contract amendment with R.L. Shears Company, P.C.
