Consideration, discussion, and possible approval of and authorization to execute Resolution 1178, a Resolution of the Council of the City of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, requesting programing of Tulsa Urbanized Area Surface Transportation Program funds for widening Elm Place (161st East Avenue) from four (4) to five (5) lanes (two through lanes in each direction and a continuous center turn lane) from Kenosha Street (71st Street South) to SH-51 (Broken Arrow Expressway), including drainage improvements, and a concrete sidewalk with handicap ramps as needed

Background:
The City of Broken Arrow is submitting to the Indian Nations Council of Governments (INCOG) an application for Federal Fiscal Year (FFY) 2022 Surface Transportation Program (STP) funds. The project chosen will widen Elm Place from Kenosha Street to SH-51 from four (4) to five (5) lanes. The City of Broken Arrow match is funded in the 2018 GO Bond and will pay for the design, right of way acquisitions, and utility relocations.
Cost: $3,400,000.00 estimate
