Background:
A large void was encountered under the southwest roadway approach to the Florence Street bridge over the Creek Turnpike located between Garnett and Olive. The City is responsible for maintenance and repair of the roadway approaches to the bridge in question. City of Broken Arrow Engineering and Construction Department personnel designed and produced construction plans for bid. The project consists of repairing the void area under the pavement and repairing/re-sealing existing joints at the southwest bridge approach.
The project was advertised for bid on December 3, 2018. Bids were opened on January 8, 2019 and three (3) bids were received. All bids were responsive and the Certified Bid Tabulation is attached. The engineer’s estimate was $82,218.00.
Cost: $98,770.00
