Background:
Employees who are members of the Fraternal Order Police Lodge No. 170 and the International Association of Firefighters Local 2551 received a 2.5% across the board wage adjustment on July 1, 2018 and will receive an additional 2.5% increase effective January 1, 2019. Non-union employees received a 2% across the board wage adjustment on July 1, 2018.
All City departments have continued to provide outstanding service to the citizens of Broken Arrow. For this reason, staff recommends providing a 2% across the board wage adjustment to non-union employees effective January 1, 2019.
Cost: $283,000.00
