Background:
Tammy Ewing is a well-respected attorney with vast legal knowledge and experience involving Municipal Law. The Acting City Attorney is recommending retention of Ms. Ewing due to her knowledge in Municipal Law, State Court litigation and review of contracts, ordinances and other documents.
The attached Fourth Amended Attorney Engagement Agreement memorializes retention of Ms. Ewing, costs and the hourly rates to be charged and amendment of paragraph X to reflect written notice subject to the applicable rules of professional conduct. The City agrees to pay Outside Counsel $125.00 per hour. Costs and fees for this matter are capped at $70,000.00 and it will expire on December 31, 2018.
Cost: Not to exceed $70,000.00
