Approval of and authorization to purchase annual software maintenance services from Granicus
End
Background:
The City has been using the Granicus suite of applications since 2009. These applications allow us to automate the process of agenda creation and provide on-line access to minutes, agendas and video recordings of Council meetings. City Staff is now able to streamline the flow of the Council meetings by implementing an electronic voting system. The VoteCast system allows touch screen voting displays, a digital speaker queue, vote and roll call automation and reviewing paperless agenda packets.
The total annual maintenance cost for the Granicus Suite of applications is $30,375.44. Sufficient funds have been budgeted for these services. Staff recommends the purchase of the annual maintenance services.
