End
Background:
The City of Broken Arrow (COBA) plans to widen 23rd Street from Houston Street to Kenosha Street. In order to accommodate the new construction, existing Oklahoma Natural Gas Company (ONG) gas facilities need to be relocated. Portions of these existing facilities are located within existing private ONG easements, and as such, the COBA must reimburse ONG for the cost of relocating those portions of the facilities. ONG will bear the cost of relocating the portion of the facilities that do not occupy private easements.
The total anticipated construction cost for this work is $353,829.00. Of which, the COBA portion is $240,796.00 (68.05%). ONG’s share is $113,063.00 (31.95%). The attached Agreement details this cost and serves as authorization for ONG to begin the relocation process.
Cost: $240,796.00 (80% reimbursement with STP Funds)
Funding Source: Federal STP funds and 2011 GO Bond funds
