Consideration, discussion, and possible approval and authorization to execute Resolution No. 1154, a Resolution of the Broken Arrow City Council approving and authorizing an agreement between the City of Broken Arrow and Windstream
End
Background:
The City of Broken Arrow is requesting that Windstream Company relocate all telecommunications facilities to vacate an alley located at 305 North Main Street, Broken Arrow between Detroit and Elgin.
The executed agreement will allow Windstream to move the utilities that are located on the existing PSO power polls. This relocation effort is in conjunction with the redevelopment of the city-owned property and the proposed mixed use facility that will be owned by Milestone Capital, LLC. It is estimated that the proposed relocation of the Windstream utility will take about two plus months to complete.
The City will be responsible for the costs incurred by Windstream to complete the work requested estimated in the amount of $105,384.45.
Staff recommends adoption of the Resolution.
