Approval of and authorization to purchase one (1) ¾ ton regular cab truck, cab and chassis from Vance Country Ford, pursuant to the Oklahoma Statewide Vehicle Contract, for the Fire Department
End
Background:
The Fire Department has budgeted for the purchase of one (1) ¾ Ton Truck. Funds have been appropriated and are available in the Sales Tax Capital Improvement Fund in the amount of $30,000.00 for the purchase of this vehicle. The truck will be purchased under the Oklahoma State Contract SW35 (item# 1000009313). Base pricing and selected options for the truck are reflected in the attached bid tabulation. The Fire Department recommends the bid from Vance Country Ford for one (1) ¾ ton regular cab truck as the most advantageous bid. Pursuant to the State Contract, Vance Country Ford can provide the Ford F-250 Truck with identified options at $27,042.00.
The Fire Department recommends that the Council approve the purchase of the Ford F-250 Truck from Vance Country Ford.
