Background:
At the August 21, 2018 meeting the City Council approved an agreement with Youth Services of Tulsa County Inc. to provide crisis intervention, short-term counseling services, and administrative supervision in municipal court cases and screening to determine the need for long-term treatment or counseling services to the youth of Broken Arrow.
The agreement provides that the City shall appoint a representative to the Youth Services Board of directors who shall facilitate coordination between the parties and supervision of funds the City has provided.
Historically the Police Chief has been appointed to the Board of Directors.
