Approval of and authorization to purchase of one (1) ¾ Ton Crew cab pickup truck from Vance Country Ford, pursuant to the Oklahoma Statewide vehicle contract, for the Police Department

Background:
The State of Oklahoma currently has three vendors with competitive bids for 2018 ¾ Ton Pickup trucks. Law enforcement agencies throughout the State of Oklahoma are able to purchase vehicles at the state contract price, which is advantageous to the political subdivisions by allowing them to make purchases at a lower price. The Police department is seeking to purchase one (1) ¾ Ton Pickup truck from the state bid contract, which will be assigned to the Detectives/Crime Scene Investigations.
All vendor bids included identical 5yr/50k bumper to bumper and drive train warranties. With options desired, Vance Country Ford submitted the lowest state bid price of $29,277.00 for the Ford F-250 Crew cab pickup truck. The additional cost of requested options is reflected in the attached bid tabulation.
This purchase will be funded through the STCI Fund 30, Project # 193001
