End
Background:
On May 10, 2018, Code Enforcement opened a case for a dilapidated structure at 1617 South Pine Avenue. An inspection showed the property to be in the following condition, which according to State Statute and City Ordinance meets the definition of a dilapidated structure and eligible for demolition: the roof is in disrepair, numerous broken windows, holes and missing bricks in the exterior walls. Additionally, there are holes in the soffit and the garage door is in disrepair. There has been no active water account since June 16, 2014.
An Order to Abate a Nuisance Public Hearing for rehabilitation or demolition of the dilapidated structure was posted on the property and mailed certified to the property owner on July 2, 2018.
There have been no applications filed for a building permit or a demolition permit.
