Approval of and authorization to execute the engagement letter with Crawford & Associates for fiscal year 2018-2019 to prepare annual financial statements and required supplementary information

Background:
Last year the City requested a proposal from Crawford & Associates to prepare the annual financial statements which include preparation of the basic financial statements and required supplementary information. Prior to Crawford & Associates the finance department prepared the annual financial statements. With all the changes that are required by the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) and the City wanting to change to preparing a Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) staff recommends continuing with Crawford & Associates.
Cost: $50,000-$60,000
Funding Source: Budgeted in General Government Departments in General Fund and Broken Arrow Municipal Authority Fund
