Background:

This is a proposed amendment to Section 26-8 of the Broken Arrow Code changing the “State or Federal Health Care Program” to the “State or Federal Medical Care Program”. This Amendment clarifies the differences in the insurance industry regarding medical services, and clarifying the section by adding “All persons subscribing to the City’s Medical Services Program who are uninsured shall be liable for sixty percent (60%) of their total emergency medical services bill as set forth in the Manual of Fees.”
