Approval of and authorization to execute a Professional Services Agreement with Strategic Government Resources (SGR) for Interim Utilities Director Services

Background:
The Utilities Director resigned from the City in April 2018. It is anticipated that a replacement will be selected by August. Strategic Government Resources (SGR) will be providing Interim Director services to assist in the management of the Utilities Department during the recruitment period.
As outlined in the attached agreement, SGR will provide a highly experienced local government professional to serve as Interim Utilities Director. SGR and Staff will work together to determine candidates for consideration with the City Manager making the final selection. The hourly billable rate will be $82.00. This assignment is expected to last 90 to 120 days. In addition, temporary housing and mileage/travel reimbursement will be provided by the City.
