Background:

The Oklahoma Municipal Assurance Group is a provider of General Liability, Auto, Workers’ Compensation, Property and Risk Management services for Oklahoma cities and towns since 1977. It is governed by a seven-member Board nominated and elected by its members. The City has been a member of OMAG since 1982. The terms of two trustees expire on June 30, 2018. Nine individuals are nominated to fill the two vacancies. After a review of the biographical summary, staff recommends that the ballot be cast for Mike Bailey, Acting City Manager/Finance Director, City of Bartlesville and Craig Stephenson, City Manager, City of Ponca City.

The other nominees Justin Battles, Assistant City Manager, Mustang; Jason Hulin, Ward One Councilman, Clinton; Russ Meacham, Chief Financial Officer, Perry; Kimberly Meek, City Manager, Duncan; Stephen Mills, City Manager, Lindsay; Jason Orr, City Manager, Piedmont; Mark Whinnery, City Manager, Drumright.
