Background:
Indian Springs Sports Complex is located at 13600 S. 145th East Ave. Signage at the entrance to the park has been designed and put out to bid. The bid documents included a Base Bid to construct the main entrance signage. The project was advertised for bids on February 8 and 15, 2018. Bids were opened on March 6, 2018 and four (4) bids were received. The low bidder was Magnum Construction, Inc., with a bid of $91,900.00 for the Base Bid and the engineer’s estimate was $75,000.00. The certified bid tabulation is attached. Staff recommends award of the Base Bid for the Indian Springs Sports Complex Baseball and Soccer Improvements Monument Signage to Magnum Construction, Inc., in the amount of $91,900.00.
Funds for the work are available in the Parks and Recreation Capital Improvement Fund 32.
Cost: $91,900.00
