Background:

On January 5, 2016, the City Council reviewed and approved BAZ 1949 to change the zoning on 26.29 acres located one-half mile north of Jasper Street, west of Aspen Avenue from A-1 to RS-3 along with PUD 244.  Both BAZ 1949 and PUD 244 were approved subject to the property being platted.  The plat, Aspen Ridge, was recorded in Tulsa County on February 7, 2017.

All of Aspen Ridge, all of the North Half of the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter (N/2 NE/4 SE/4) and part of the West Half of the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter (W/2 SW/4 NE/4 SE/4) and part of the West Half of the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter  (W/2 SE/4 NE/4) of Section Four (4), Township Seventeen (17) North, Range Fourteen (14) East of the Indian Meridian, a Subdivision within the City of Broken Arrow, Tulsa County, State of Oklahoma.

 

be and the same is hereby changed from the zoning classification of A-1 (Agricultural District) to RS-3 (Single-Family Residential District) along with PUD 244.

 

Staff recommends that the Council adopt Ordinance No. 3520 and approve the Emergency Clause.
