Background:
Shadow Trails Homeowners’ Association, Inc. has submitted an application requesting the acceptance of a sidewalk easement, described in Exhibit A.1 and A.2. This easement is being dedicated as part of the Homeowners’ Association’s efforts to convert Reserve Area E of the Shadow Trail plat into a community swimming pool. This easement allows the sidewalk to be build outside the right-of-way, on the HOA property. The applicant has also submitted a Street and Utility Easement Encroachment License Agreement to allow for parking for the facility to be built in the street right-of-way. The license agreement is being presented in the same meeting as this sidewalk easement dedication. The plat for Shadow Trails was recorded in Tulsa County on October 30, 2015.
Staff has reviewed the documents and recommends acceptance of the sidewalk easement.
