Background:

On September 5, 2017, the City Council approved SP-284, a request for a specific use permit for animal sales and service including animal training and abrogation of BAZ-1704 for My Sonrise Stables.  SP-284 was approved subject to right-of-way and utility easement being dedicated along Olive Avenue in accordance with the Subdivision Regulations.  The property is located one-quarter to one-half mile south of Jasper Street, east of Olive Avenue.

The applicant/owner David A. Yonce and Misty M. Yonce has submitted an application requesting the acceptance of a 17.5-foot wide utility easement along the east side of Olive Avenue as stipulated with the approval of SP-284.

Staff has reviewed the documents and recommends acceptance of the utility easement.
