Approval of and authorization to execute Budget Amendment Number 1 for Fiscal Year 2018

Background:
The Municipal Budget Act adopted by the City Council allows the City to amend the budget at any time during the year for necessary expenditures that exceed the original budget or when changing circumstances warrant the action.
On October 9, 2017, the CVB approved providing $50,000 to Stoney Creek Hospitality Corporation, to assist with the marketing and promotion of the Broken Arrow Conference Center.
Budget Amendment Number 1 provides for the appropriation and funding of this expenditure for budgetary compliance. Funds are available in the CVB Fund Balance.
Cost: $50,000.00
