Background:
The Stormwater Division of the Streets and Stormwater Department has budgeted for the purchase of one 25,500 GVWR utility truck to replace an older utility truck. Funds for this purchase are budgeted in the Broken Arrow Municipal Authority (BAMA) Capital Outlay in the amount of $95,000.00, project number 185304.
Bid requests for utility truck were sent to 15 vendors, five bids were received from three vendors. Base pricing and selected options for the utility truck is reflected in the attached bid tabulation. Staff recommends that the Authority award the lowest responsible bid to Rush Truck Center for the purchase of one 2018 Hino 268 chassis with a Reading utility body.
Cost: $87,949.00
