Background:
The 23rd Street, Kenosha to Houston, project is a federal Surface Transportation Program (STP) project that is being cost-shared 20%-80% between the City of Broken Arrow and Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT). Sidney Street needs to be designed to a commercial collector street standard. A traffic signal warrant study is required for the Houston and 23rd Street intersection. At the August 15, 2017, regular meeting, the City Council approved Supplemental Engineering Contract No. 3 - Financing Agreement by and between the City and ODOT covering the engineering services. Amendment No.3 to the A-E contract has been negotiated in the amount of $27,000.00 and is attached.
Cost: $27,000.00 (Federal funding $21,600.00, City share $5,400.00
