Background:
The Broken Arrow Downtown Advisory Board was created by Ordinance No. 2748 passed on December 5, 2005. On December 6, 2005 the Broken Arrow Downtown Advisory Board Bylaws were adopted. Article IV, Item 4-1 states: Officers of the Board shall consist of Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson and Secretary. The Chairperson and Vice Chairperson shall be elected by the membership.
Article IV, Item 4-2 states: Nomination of officers shall be made from the floor at the first regular meeting each October. Election of officers shall follow immediately. A candidate receiving a majority vote of the entire membership shall be declared elected.
