Consideration, discussion, and possible approval of and authorization to execute a Professional Services Agreement between the City of Broken Arrow and Danna Centeno, RN, d/b/a Lockedin RN, LLC (Centeno) for providing city jail medical services
End
Background:
The City of Broken Arrow is in need of a Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) for consulting Services. The RN oversees the health of the inmates at jail. Ms. Centeno desires to perform skilled nursing assessments of the inmates. Her duties will include the following:
1. Maintain State RN licensure in good standing; and
2. Oversee the overall health of the inmates in the City Jail; and
3. Perform skilled nurse assessments approximately three times a week, with a maximum of two hours per visit; and
4. Maintain appropriate liability insurance policies with the single limit of $1 million for duration of this contract. A copy of the policy shall be filed with the Police Department and shall name the City as an additional named insured.; and
5. Supply any equipment and supplies she may need to fulfill the terms of this Agreement
The City of Broken Arrow will provide Ms. Centeno access to jail inmates and will pay her $42.00 an hour for her services. Funding of this agreement is budgeted in the operational accounts of the Jail Operations division of the Police Sales Tax Fund. Staff recommends that the Council approve the Agreement and authorize its execution.
Cost: Approximately $13,104 per year ($42.00 per hour)
