Approval of and authorization to execute a Professional Services Contract with GeoDeca, LLC for Surveying Services for the County Line Trunk Sanitary Sewer (Project No. S.1609)

Background:
The existing 27-inch County Line Trunk Sanitary Sewer that runs from Washington Street (91st Street) to the Lynn Lane Wastewater Treatment Plant (LL WWTP) is in poor condition and this has resulted in several recent sanitary sewer overflows. BAMA has initiated design work to replace approximately 5.5 miles of the existing trunk sewer, upsizing the pipe sizes to those recommended in the Wastewater System Master Plan. The design of the new pipeline from Washington Street (91st Street) to just south of Jasper Street (131st Street) is being performed by Professional Engineering Consultants, P.A. The design of the new pipeline from just south of Jasper Street (131st Street) to the LL WWTP is being designed by the Engineering and Construction Department.
Funding for the surveying services will be from OWRB loan FAP-17-0004-L.
Cost: $31,200.00
