Approval of and authorization to execute a Professional Consultant Agreement with R. L. Shears Company, P.C. for Design of Veterans Park Improvements - Phase II (Project No. 186019)

Background:
This is a project that will move the Vietnam War Memorial from Central Park to Veterans Park. Also, it will improve the irrigation system at Veterans Park.
The attached Professional Consultant Agreement with R.L. Shears Company, P.C. for design of the Veterans Park Improvements will update the plans to be consistent with the Rose District Theme. It will provide diagonal sidewalks to connect all the existing memorials. Funding for this agreement is available in the 2018 Park and Recreation Capital Improvements funds.
Cost: $17,265.00
