Approval of and authorization to execute Amendment No. 2 to an Architect/Engineer Contract with CEC Corporation for Design of Florence Street Widening, Olive Avenue to Aspen Avenue (Project No. ST1410)
End
Background:
This is a project to widen Florence Street from Olive Avenue to Aspen Avenue from two lanes to three lanes for the west half mile and to five lanes for the east half mile. There is a school located on the north side at the beginning at the half mile point to the east. The plans were completed in 2014, however, funds were not available for the construction. The construction funds are available from the 2014 G.O. Bond Issue Fund and the plans need to be updated to reflect changes made over the last three years.
The work to be completed by this amendment is to update the property owners’ information for right-of-way acquisition, update the plan sheets based on the latest City review red-line plans, and provide detailed bidding documents including a revised quantity list.
Funding for the engineering is from the 2014 Streets G.O. Bond.
Cost: $16,300.00
