Approval of and authorization to execute a Regional Metropolitan Utility Authority (RMUA) Professional Consultant Agreement for Haikey Creek Grit Building Rehabilitation

Background:
The Regional Metropolitan Utility Authority (RMUA) has selected Tetra Tech, Inc. to perform design services for rehabilitation of the existing grit building and headworks at Haikey Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant (HCWWTP). Rehabilitation shall include civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and architectural work. The price negotiated with the A/E is $300,000.00, of which BAMA is responsible for 50 percent. Award of the agreement requires approval by BAMA. Tulsa Metropolitan Utility Authority (TMUA) will oversee the agreement subject to BAMA’s input. Funding is available from a Financial Assistance Program (FAP-17-0003-L) loan thru Oklahoma Water Resources Board (OWRB). This contract award is planned to be on the September RMUA quarterly board meeting subject to BAMAs and TMUAs approval.
Cost: $150,000.00 (BAMA’s Share)
