Acceptance of the Department of Environmental Quality Sanitary Sewer permit, SX0000721, for Kenosha Villas, located a quarter mile north of Kenosha Street and a quarter mile west of Aspen Avenue, Tulsa County, State of Oklahoma, (Section 4, T18N, R14E)
End
Background:
Kenosha Villas is senior style living facility located behind the existing senior housing facility Kenosha Landing off of west Oakland Street. Adjacent property owners were unwilling to provide gravity sewer easements for connection to the existing gravity sewer line. Kenosha Villas determined the best solution was a private sewer system, lift station and force main.
This required plans to be reviewed and approved by the City and subsequently submitted to the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) for a receive, transport and treat permit. DEQ requires the permit to go before Council so the permit can be made a matter of permanent record.
Staff recommends acceptance of the DEQ permit for sanitary sewer at Kenosha Villas.
