Background:

The applicant, Raymond Bagwell, has submitted an application requesting the acceptance of a utility easement along the south side of Washington Street as described in Exhibit A. This property is platted as JHM Second, a re-subdivision of Lots 6 & 7, Block 1, JHM Addition and is located east of the southeast corner of Washington Street and Elm Place between Atlanta Street and Washington Street.

 

A new Specific Use Permit for a place of assembly was approved by the City Council on April 4th, 2017, subject to conditions including the dedication of right-of-way and utility easements along the north property line, south of Washington Street.

 

Staff has reviewed the documents and recommends acceptance of the utility easement.
