                     Acceptance of a Utility Easement from Steven A. and Marcella R. Wilson, on property located one-quarter mile south of Kenosha Street, west of Oak Grove Road, Wagoner County, State of Oklahoma, (Section 11, T18N, R15E)

Background:

Steven A. and Marcella R. Wilson have submitted a request, BAZ-1977, to change the zoning on their 2.24-acre parcel located one-quarter mile south of Kenosha Street, west of Oak Grove Road from A-1 to RE.  BAZ-1977 was recommended for approval by the Planning Commission on May 11, 2017, subject to right-of-way and a utility easement being dedicated along Oak Grove Road in accordance with the Subdivision Regulations.  BAZ-1977 is on this City Council agenda. 

 

In addition, the Planning Commission on May 11, 2017, also approved BAL-2016.  BAL-2016, a request to split the property into two lots, was approved by the Planning Commission subject to right-of-way and a utility easement being dedicated along Oak Grove Road in accordance with the Subdivision Regulations.  

 

The applicant/owner Steven A. and Marcella R. Wilson have submitted an application requesting the acceptance of a 17.5-foot wide utility easement along the west side of Oak Grove Road as stipulated by the Planning Commission with the approval of BAZ-1977 and BAL-2016.

 

Staff has reviewed the documents and recommends acceptance of the utility easement.
