Background:
Established in 1992 the Broken Arrow Public School Foundation was created to improve education through connecting the community with educators. The primary goal of the Foundation is to provide incentive grants to teachers and instructional programs and services.
The Foundation by-laws provide that the City Council may appoint one Associate Director to the Board of Directors. As Associate Director is non-voting member of the Board. Councilmember Wimpee has indicated an interest representing the City Council on the Foundation Board.
