Approval of and authorization to execute a Capital Improvements Agreement by and between the Board of County Commissioners of Tulsa County, Oklahoma, and the City of Broken Arrow related to the Albany and Stonewood Intersection Improvement Project

Background:
On March 21, 2017 the City Council approved submitting an application to the Tulsa County Vision Authority to obtain $628,330.00 of Vision 2025 surplus funds to assist in funding improvements at Albany and Stonewood Drive, near the Stoney Creek Conference Center.
On April 5,2017 the Tulsa County Vision Authority approved the City’s application.
The construction project will include signalization and construction of turn lanes at and near the Conference Center, a sidewalk along Albany Street and a pedestrian crossing to retail shopping south of Albany.
Cost: $69,601 was previously paid for the traffic analysis and engineering design from the Sales Tax Capital Improvement Fund. Construction
funding will be from Vision 2025 Surplus funds.
