Background:
Chapter 10 of the Broken Arrow Municipal Code addresses the Fire and Life Safety Code for the City of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. The International Fire Code, as well as the International Building Code, were developed by the International Code Council. The first edition of the IFC and IBC were published in 2000. In November of 2015, the City of Broken Arrow adopted the 2015 International Fire Code as adopted and amended by the Oklahoma Uniform Building Code Commission, including Appendices B, C, D, E, F, G and I, as the Fire Prevention Code.
